Barcelona – El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport is a major airline hub, the second busiest airport in Spain. It is located south-west of Barcelona, between the city limits of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans, and Sant Boi de Llobregat. Find out more on the airport website.

El Prat Josep Tarradellas airport is about a 30-minute drive from the Barcelona Advanced Industry Park. Taking a taxi would be the most comfortable option to reach the venue. 

However,  public transport is also a very convenient option to arrive and to move around the city thanks to the integrated fare system.

To come by train from the airport (departs every 30 minutes), take Line 1 of the local train service (RENFE Rodalies) to “Barcelona Sants” mainline station (about 25 minutes), which has connections with the metro (Line 3, green, and Line 5, blue). Take the metro L3 in the direction “Trinitat Nova” and get off at the station called “Canyelles”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Technology Park (about 10 minutes; see map). Alternatively, you can take the metro L5 in the direction “Vall d’Hebron” and get off at the station called “Virrei Amat”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Industry Park (about 13 minutes; see map).

To come by bus from the airport (departs every 5-10 minutes), take the Aerobus (Aerobus website) at the airport to “Plaça Catalunya” (about 30 minutes), which has connections with the metro (Line 3, green).Take the metro L3 in the direction “Trinitat Nova” and get off at the station called “Canyelles”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Technology Park (about 10 minutes).

To come by metro from the airport, take the metro Line 9 S in the direction “Zona Universitària” and get off at the end of the line (about 1 hour), which has connections with the metro (Line 3, green). Take the metro L3 in the direction “Trinitat Nova” and get off at the station called “Canyelles”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Technology Park (about 10 minutes).

By Train

Go to “Barcelona Sants” mainline station (metro stop “Sants Estació”), which has connections with the metro (Line 3, green, and Line 5, blue). Take the metro L3 in the direction “Trinitat Nova” and get off at the station called “Canyelles”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Technology Park (about 10 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the metro L5 in the direction “Vall d’Hebron” and get off at the station called “Virrei Amat”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Industry Park (about 13 minutes).

By Metro

Take the metro L3 in the direction “Trinitat Nova” and get off at the station called “Canyelles”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Technology Park (about 10 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the metro L5 in the direction “Vall d’Hebron” and get off at the station called “Virrei Amat”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Industry Park (about 13 minutes). Or even the metro L4 (yellow) in the direction “Trinitat Nova” and get off at the station called “Llucmajor”. Walk to the Barcelona Advanced Technology Park (about 5 minutes; see map).

By Bus
