Barcelona - El Prat Airport is a major airline hub, the second busiest airport in Spain. It is located south-west of the city of Barcelona, between the city limits of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans and Sant Boi. Find out more on the web.

El Prat airport is roughly a 20-minute drive from the Faculty of Chemistry. Taking a taxi would be the most comfortable option to reach the venue. But public transport is also a very convenient option to arrive and to move around the city thanks to the integrated fare system.

To come by train from the airport (departs every 30 minutes), take Line 1 of the local train service (RENFE Rodalies) to the mainline station “Barcelona Sants” (22 minutes), which has connections with the metro system (Line 3). Take the metro in direction "Zona Universitària" and get off at the station called "Palau Reial" (see map).
